Bathroom fitting, with the preparation done properly

You have chosen the bathroom. This is the part where it either gets fitted to last or gets fitted quickly, and the difference only shows two years later.

How we work

Fitting is mostly what happens before the fitting

Sanitaryware going in is the fast part. What decides whether it stays right is the frame behind a wall hung basin, the level of the floor under a tray, the tanking around a shower and the accuracy of the setting out before the first tile.

We treat those as the job rather than as preparation for the job. It is also why we are happy to fit products a customer bought themselves.

Fittings we install regularly

Baths, including shorter and space saving shapes

Shower enclosures and low profile trays

Wall hung basins and concealed cistern toilets

Vanity units and fitted bathroom furniture

Thermostatic showers and mixer brassware

Heated towel rails and radiator replacements

Extractor fans and improved ventilation

Good to know

Supplying your own products

This is common and we have no issue with it. We will look over your list at survey and flag anything that will not work in your room, such as a vanity too deep for the door swing or a shower your water pressure will not support.

Better to know before you order than after it arrives.

Common questions

Bathroom Fitting: your questions answered

Can you fit a bathroom I have already bought?

Yes. Bring us the list and we will check it against your room before quoting.

Do you fit wall hung toilets and basins?

Regularly. They need a supporting frame built in before plastering, so they must be decided early.

Can you keep my existing bath?

If it is sound and you are happy with it, yes. Careful removal and refitting costs far less than replacement.

Will my water pressure run the shower I want?

We test flow and pressure at the survey rather than guessing, and recommend accordingly.

Do you fit extractor fans?

Yes, and we usually recommend it. Ventilation is the cheapest lasting improvement in most bathrooms.
